About Carlton Ware World

Carlton Ware World is a member-run club for collectors and enthusiasts of pottery made at Copeland Street, Stoke, by Messrs Wiltshaw & Robinson and sold as Carlton Ware. Our primary interest is in ware made before 1989 when the Copeland Street pottery closed, though we do give information on later products made elsewhere.

Since 2004, through our website and publications, Carlton Ware World has provided accurate information on this extraordinary pottery.

There is no doubt that Carlton Ware is one of the most important and innovative potteries of the Twentieth Century. We hope that you find our site useful and informative.
